NC leader Thapa calls on NRB Governor Adhikari



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa has paid a visit to Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari on Friday.

Taking to his social media on Friday, the NC leader informed about his meeting with Governor Adhikari and other senior officials.

The meeting dwelled on existing liquidity crunch, the state of monetary reserves and issues related to the stock market.

“I met NRB Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari and other senior officials to discuss the current liquidity crunch, monetary reserves and capital market problems,” he wrote.

Thapa said he expected the governor to formulate monetary policy in such a manner that problems seen in the economy would be addressed.
