One killed in motorcycle accident



SAPTARI: A person has died in a motorcycle accident at Baramjhiya Chowk in Saptari district last evening. One person has been injured in the accident.

The motorcycle (Pradesh 1-02-44 Pa 610) collided with a four-wheeler on the road at around 7.30 pm yesterday and collided head-on with a tipper (Na 7 Kha 2522) coming from the opposite direction.

Yuvaraj Khatiwada, 50, of Biratnagar, Morang, died at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj while undergoing treatment.

Gautam Mahato, 47, of Biratnagar Sub-Metropolis-15 of Morang is undergoing treatment at the same hospital.

The driver along with the tipper has been taken under control by the Area Police Office, Kanchanpur.
