CPN-UML to hit the street against price hike

KATHMANDU: The main opposition CPN-UML has decided to launch various protest programs against the price hike in petroleum products.

A meeting of the People’s Organization Coordination Mechanism has decided to hold street protests against the recent price hike in petroleum products and other daily commodities.

UML has asked its sister organizations to take to the streets against the price hike.

The party has also demanded the government ensure a smooth supply of fertilizer to the farmers.
