KATHMANDU: All 753 local-level governments are unveiling their annual budget for the coming Fiscal Year 2079/80 BS today.
According to the Intergovernmental Finance Management Act 2074, the local level should bring the budget by Asar 10.
However, some local levels cannot bring the budget due to the lack of technical difficulties and preparation.
The budget has been prepared using grants and internal resources from the federal and state governments.
Adding the four types of grants (equalization, conditional, special, and equalization) from the budget brought by the federal government on 15 June, the budget from revenue sharing, the amount from natural resource allocation, tax authority, other local-level income and the grant received after the budget.
