Govt to expedite work to complete fast track on time



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to complete the Terai-Kathmandu fast track on time.

Presenting the Policy and Program of the government for the coming Fiscal Year 2023/24 in the joint sitting of both the Houses of the Federal Parliament, President Bidya Devi Bhandari informed that the work would be expedited so that the work of fast track could be completed on time.

The government has set a target of completing the fast track by 2081 BS.

President Bhandari said that the road connecting the district headquarters would be widened to four lines.

Construction of flyovers at potential locations in Kathmandu has been included in the government’s forthcoming policy and program.
