Cabinet endorses policies and programs



KATHMANDU: The cabinet meeting has passed the policies and programs of the government on Tuesday morning.

According to government spokesperson and Minister for Communications Gyanendra Bahadur Karki the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar this morning passed the policy and programs of the government.

President Bidyadevi Bhandari is scheduled to present the policies and programs of the government at a joint sitting of the federal parliament at 4 pm today.

Policies and programs are said to focus on increasing domestic production, import-substitution, and popular programs.

The government will make public the fiscal budget on May 30 based on the policy and program to be presented on Tuesday.
