Two killed in Tata Sumo-motorcycle collision



KATHMANDU: Two people have died when a Tata Sumo hit a motorcycle on the road at Chobhar in Kirtipur Municipality-6 of Kathmandu.

The deceased have been identified as Samir Giri, 28, of Nagarjuna Municipality-6 and Nabindra, 30, of Kalanki.

Both of them succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at Bayodha Hospital in Balkhu. The sumo driver has been taken under control by the police.

They were killed when the motorcycle they were riding, Ba 92 Pa 231, was hit by a Tata Sumo (Na 1 Ja 6354) on Wednesday, police said.
