Prime Minister Deuba calls cabinet meeting



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of Council of Minister at 3 pm in Baluwatar Monday.

The PM’s press coordinator Govinda Pariyar confirmed this, adding that it was a regular cabinet meeting.

PM Deuba’s Secretariat said that no major political and constitutional decisions would be taken today as the silent period for National Assembly election is underway.

The Upper House election is taking place on Wednesday and the silence period began Sunday midnight.
