Biratnagar High Court’s service affected after eight judges test COVID-19 positive



KATHMANDU: After eight judges tested coronavirus positive in Biratnagar High Court, the court’s service has been adversely affected.

According to Om Raj Subedi, spokesperson at the Biratnagar High Court, the High Court has shrunk its services owing to the coronavirus cases among the staffs including eight judges.

“The court has been going through only the habeas corpus and detention related cases after finding majority of the judges tested coronavirus positive,” Spokesperson Subedi said.

According to him, 10 employees including eight judges are coronavirus positive in the court.
