NC leader Lekhak wins in Kanchanpur-3



KANCHANPUR: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and House of Representatives member Ramesh Lekhak has been elected from Kanchanpur-3.

He defeated his nearest competitor Nirudevi Pal of CPN-UML by a wide margin of 12,077 votes.

Leader Lekhak, who became a candidate on behalf of the ruling coalition, got 30,523 votes on Sunday’s election. UML’s Pal got 18,448 votes.
