Resham Chaudhary’s father Lalveer Chaudhary wins in Bardiya-2



BARDIYA: Independent candidate Lalveer Chaudhary has won for the member of the House of Representatives in Bardiya-2.

He won by defeating Suresh Panth of CPN-Maoist Center by 136 votes.

While Chaudhary won by securing 26,520 votes, the closest rival Maoist sect got 26,384 votes.

Similarly, CPN-UML’s Pankajsingh Rathore got 16,090 votes while Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s Binay Rawal got 13,292 votes.

Lalveer is the father of Resham Chaudhary.

After the cancellation of Resham’s candidature, the Nagarik Unmukti Party supported Lalveer, who ran as a candidate there.
