KATHMANDU: A gathering of the Shekhar Koirala faction of the Nepali Congress (NC) is set to take place on Saturday.
Leaders of the Koirala faction have been holding preliminary discussion for Saturday’s meeting on Friday (today) itself.
The Koirala faction has been mounting pressure on the NC leadership to see more of its supporters as candidates in the upcoming November 20 elections.
Central members, district presidents, former district presidents and provincial committee leaders, close to leader Koirala, are attending today’s meeting.
