TAPLEJUNG: A 56-year-old husband of Fungling-9, Gaigude, Taplejung has allegedly murder his wife.
According to Taplejung police, Bal Bahadur Sanwa Limbu of Gaigude beat his 54-year-old wife Kanchimaya Limbu over a domestic dispute on Friday evening.
Preliminary police investigation showed that Kacnchimaya died on the spot when she was hit by the wooden handle of a Khurpa, a domestic cutting tool. More details would be known after the autopsy, police said.
Sanwa has been detained by the police and further investigation is underway.
