Four leaders, including three central members of Biplav’s Maoist party, resign



KATHMANDU: Four leaders, including politburo member Om Prakash Pun of the Netra Bikram Chand “Biplab”-led Communist Party of Nepal, have resigned.

Central members Pun, Shankar Khadka, Dal Bahadur Dhami and Ramesh Pariyar announced their resignation by issuing a joint statement on Thursday.

They left at a time when Biplav is in the far-western region.

Biplav has reached Kailali for the training of far-western level cadres to be held in Dhangadhi.

It is mentioned in the joint statement that the leaders have decided to change the current political trend and path keeping in view the changing world politics and national politics.
