Bharatpur Metropolis: Renu widens gap, garners 45,887 votes

Renu: 46,255, Subedi: 35,245, Poudel: 14,028



BHARATPUR: Common candidate for the ruling alliance for the post of Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City Renu Dahal has taken a lead of 11,010 votes.

She has received 46,255 votes while her nearest contender Bijaya Subedi of CPN-UML has got 35,245 votes.

Likewise, independent candidate Jagannath Poudel has received 14,028 votes.

Meanwhile, for the post of Deputy Mayor Chitrasen Adhikari of the Nepali Congress has taken the lead over Himla Gurung of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) by 20,157 votes.

Adhikari has received 47,228 votes while Gurung has garnered 27,071 votes.

There are 29 wards in the metropolis municipality.
