Newly elected people’s representatives should be accountable to people: NC leader Paudel

DAMAULI: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel today said newly elected people representatives should work by being accountable to the people.

They now should serve people instead of being rulers and be on the path to translating their faith into action, he said while addressing a victory rally organized after the NC won mayor in Byas Municipality.

“Many development activities of the municipality have remained to be done. They should be carried out.”

The NC’s main focus is on realizing the campaign to make the country successful through political stability, social justice and development activities.

On the current five-party collation, he said the alliance would continue in the days to come as it was forged for the development and stability of the country.
