NEPSE declines by 20.34 points Wednesday

KATHMANDU: The stock market, which had been rising for two consecutive days, declined by 20.34 points on Wednesday.

With Wednesday’s downtrend journey of the stock market, the NEPSE index has dropped to the point of 2630.36. The Sensitive Index of Good and Strong Companies also declined by 4.22 points to 495.11.

The turnover has also decreased by Rs 2 billion as compared to yesterday.

Out of 13 sub-groups  only two went green letting 11 in the red.

The trading group rose 0.5 percent on the day, while the mutual fund group rose by 0.25 percent.

The financial group declined the most by 1.55 percent today. Others group declined by 1.33 percent while banking group went down by 0.56 percent.
