CPN-UML’s CC meeting underway

Dwelling on criteria for electing candidates



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the CPN-UML’s central committee (CC) is underway at Babarmahal in Kathmandu.

The CC meeting will be focused on the upcoming elections during which Chairman KP Sharma Oli will submit a political dossier on contemporary issues, deputy chief of the central publicity department Bishnu Rijal said.

The leaders in the meeting will present their views on the chairman’s report.

The agenda items of the meeting include reporting by chairpersons from all seven provinces, election manifesto, the criteria for electing candidates for local level elections.

The meeting will be held for two days, according to Rijal.

UML held a politburo meeting on Monday and the secretariat meeting had been held prior to this.
