KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that a conspiracy is being hatched to break the alliance and overthrow the government.

Talking to Khabarhub after the second plenary meeting of the party’s Bagmati Province Committee in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Prachanda said that efforts were underway to undermine the recent political changes, dismantling the coalition and overthrow the government.

He added possibilities of counter-revolution at the moment were slim.

He also clarified that he held a meeting with the Home Minister on Wednesday morning and not the Prime Minister.

Home Minister Bal Krishna Khan had discussed issues, including the US grant Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), with Prachanda this morning.
