NEPSE falls by 10.83 points, Nepal Telecom sees highest transaction Sunday

KATHMANDU: On the first trading day of the week, the share market has seen a correction again on Sunday. The Sensitive Index increased while the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index declined this Sunday.

The NEPSE index dropped by 10.83 points to go down to 2920.51 points. NEPSE declined by 0.37 percent while the Sensitive Index rose 0.06 points to become 543.80 on Sunday.

According to NEPSE, a total of 1,47,47,277 shares of 232 companies were traded at a turnover of Rs 7.35 billion today.

The stock market data revealed that out of 13 subgroups traded Sunday, shares of 5 subgroups increased while shares of the remaining 8 subgroups saw the decline.

Nepal Telecom had the highest number of transactions on Sunday. The company had a turnover of Rs 32.14 million.

The share price of Win Nepal Microfinance Financial Institution Limited started a positive circuit on Sunday. The company’s share price has risen 10 percent to reach Rs 914.10.

The share price of Samling Power Company Limited declined the most today. The company’s share price fell 6.69 percent to Rs 683 per share.
