Kathmandu-5: NC’s Pradip Poudel emerges victorious



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Pradip Poudel has emerged victorious from Kathmandu Constituency-5.

Poudel’s closest contender, CPN-UML’s Ishwor Pokhrel, garnered about 5000 fewer votes than Poudel.

The official figure of the votes garnered by Poudel and Pokhrel is yet to be announced.

The result will be announced shortly.

Pokhrel was elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-5 in the previous election.
