PM Deuba leading with double votes in Dadeldhura

DADELDHURA: Prime Minister and President of the Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba is ahead of his nearest competitor garnering 6,880 votes in the election held for the post of member of the House of Representatives from Dadeldhura.

His closest competitor, an independent candidate, Sagar Dhakal, has received 3,666 votes.

Likewise, Nepali Congress BP party’s Karna Bahadur Malla got 1,836 votes while 656 votes were found to be invalid, according to the Office of the Returning Officer.
