Ruling alliance for protection of constitution: Maoist leader Gurung



KATHMANDU: General-Secretary of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Dev Prasad Gurung, has said the ruling alliance was formed for the protection of the constitution and economic development of the country.

At a program organized at Samakhusi, in Kathmandu, today, leader Gurung reiterated that the alliance was for safeguarding the nationality and democracy. “It is necessary to make the alliance-member parties victorious in the election for the protection of nationality, democracy and constitution”, he added.

Also the election candidate of House of Representatives member from the ruling alliance from Lamjung, General-Secretary Gurung mentioned that the alliance is in the campaign of good-governance by ending corruption.

Development of Lamjung could be realized through agriculture, tourism and hydropower, he said, pointing out the need of developing infrastructure for the same.

Similarly, candidate of Lamjung Province Assembly (a), Dr Tekraj Gurung, said the alliance was formed for the implementation of the constitution, adding victory of alliance was necessary for country’s development.

Likewise, candidate of Lamjung Province Assembly (b), Bhesh Bahadur Poudel, shared that building a prosperous nation is his campaign.
