KATHMANDU: CPN-UML chairman KP Oli has stressed the need to ensure equal treatment to all ethnic groups.

In his address to an interaction organized by the Democratic Federation of Indigenous Nationalities here on Friday, he said enabling all indigenous nationalities would help pursue the country’s development.

Oli, also the former Prime Minister, asserted that no force should engage their efforts in dividing indigenous nationalities to serve vested interests.

Claiming that his party had been working for advancing prosperity and enrichment of minority communities, including indigenous nationalities, he underlined the need for community unity for the same.
