NC forms committee to study previous manifestos based on “innovation in continuity”



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) is going to prepare its election manifesto with the major theme of ‘innovation in continuity’ and will be guided by extensive discussions in a short time.

A decision to this end was taken at the first meeting of the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly Member Election-2079 Manifesto Preparation Committee of the NC, according to the committee member-secretary Dr Pradeep Parajuli.

The party has also formed a study and analysis sub-committee led by joint general secretary Jeevan Pariyar to study the related documents and manifestos of different periods since the foundation of the party.

Madan Kattel and Shankar Tiwari are members of the sub-committee. Similarly, the meeting decided to form a preliminary drafting sub-committee led by committee member Dr Swarnim Wagle with Geja Sharma Wagle, Pratap Paudel, Krishna Prasad Paudel, Dipesh Ghimire and Dr Priti Mandal as its members.
