Beni-Jomsom road blocked



BENI: The Beni-Jomsom road connecting Mustang with the national highway through the northern area of ​​Myagdi has been blocked.

The Myagdi section of the 76 km long road has been blocked due to landslides in various places of Dana in Annapurna rural municipality-3 of Myagdi on Sunday night.

Beni-Jomsom-Korla road project supervisor Indra Singh Sherchan informed that the road was blocked due to landslides in Guithe, Jalathle, Titar, Dana, Rupse areas.

The road has also been blocked due to falling trees in some places.

The road repair has been started by mobilizing the equipment and workers of the road department and the contractor company of the project.

The obstruction of the road has caused problems for the residents, pilgrims and tourists.
