NRB cancels trading suspension during merger



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has canceled the policy that suspends stock trading in the secondary market during the ongoing merger process.

Now onwards, the stock will not be suspended if the banks and financial institutions go into the merger.

The provision is canceled by Governor Mahaprasad Adhikari through the monetary policy of the current FY, 2022/23.
