Zeya, who arrived for a three-day visit on Friday, met Prime Minister Deuba on Saturday and discussed relations between Nepal and the United States, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

Her visit comes as Nepal and the US are celebrating 75 years of establishment of diplomatic ties as well as the ratification of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Sources said she also discussed partnering with Nepal and India during this Year of Action for the Summit for Democracy with the Prime Minister.
