Mayoral candidate Dhanraj leading by 3,260 votes in Pokhara



POKHARA: Mayoral candidate Dhanraj Acharya and deputy mayoral candidate Manju Devi Gurung have maintained their lead in Pokhara Metropolitan City.

Acharya is the candidate of Unified Socialist Party and Gurung is the CPN-UML candidate.

Acharya is ahead by a margin of 3,260 votes over UML candidate Krishna Thapa.

Acharya has got 40,434 votes while his nearest rival Thapa has received 37,174 votes.

Similarly, RPP mayoral candidate Shankar Kharal has got 4,582 votes while independent candidate Khadkaraj Poudel has got 2,613 votes.

UML’s deputy mayoral candidate Gurung has received 1,612 more votes than Congress candidate Kopila Ranabhat.

Manju has got 42,316 votes and Kopila has received 40,704 votes so far.
