UML mayoral candidates leading in Tulsipur sub-metropolis



TULSIPUR: CPN-UML candidates for the post of mayor and deputy mayor have maintained the lead in Tulsipur sub-metropolis.

UML’s Tikaram Khadka is leading with 811 votes while counting 35,175 votes.

Khadka has received 15,405 votes.

Similarly, Nepali Congress candidate Gehendra Giri from the ruling coalition has received 14,594 votes.

Shani Chaudhary of UML has got 14,615 votes while Jog Bahadur Rana Magar of Unified Socialist has got 10,892 votes. Chaudhary is ahead of Rana by 3,723 votes.

Tulsipur, which has 19 wards, is currently counting wards 10 and 11.
