KATHMANDU: Visiting World Health Organization Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has paid a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
During the meeting with Tedros held at Shital Niwas on Friday morning, President Bhandari appreciated the role played by the WHO during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Similarly, Director General Tredros has also paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sher Bahaadur Deuba at the latter’s official residence in Baluwatar.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus arrived on a three-day visit to Nepal on Thursday at the invitation of Health and Population Minister Birodh Khatiwada.
