NEPSE records double digit gain on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has recorded double digits gain on Tuesday.

The NEPSE index gained 16.04 points and closed at 2,650.70 points.

Meanwhile, NEPSE sensitive index also increased by 3.03 points and reached 499.33 points.

A total of 5,329,993 shares of 253 companies changed hands via 36,772 transactions today, resulting in a turnover of Rs 2.5 billion.

Of the listed companies in NEPSE, shares prices of 106 companies went up in Tuesday’s market while 77 companies lost their share prices.
