Rape allegation case filed against actor Paul Shah



TANAHU: A case of rape has been registered against actor Paul Shah in the Tanahu District Court on Tuesday.

A second case has been filed against Shah on the basis of a complaint filed by the minor singer.

The rape accused Shah  is in remand in District Police Office Tanahu since February 27.  The police has presented the details to the district court after 21 days of actor Shah’s custody.

The District Police Office, Nawalpur has also filed a case against Shah after completing its investigation.

The Tanahu District Public Prosecutor’s Office has filed an indictment in the court. The indictment argued that the victim was under 16 years of age at the time of the incident and the accused should be sentenced to 12 to 14 years imprisonment as per the law.

Similarly, Shah’s aide Krishna Joshi has been demanded to be sentenced to half the jail term of actor Shah.
