Prachanda asks PM Deuba to provide subsistence allowance to the injured and disabled of armed conflict, others



KATHMANDU: Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has urged Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to provide subsistence allowance to the families of martyrs who lost their lives in the decade-long Maoist conflict.

During the discussion held in Baluwatar, Prachanda drew Deuba’s attention to the injured and disabled people of the armed conflict (people’s war).

Prachanda asked PM Deuba to revise the procedure for determining and reviewing the disability percentage, listing the disappeared persons, and distributing identity cards and honorary certificates to those who have fought to establish republicanism in the country.

Prachanda also urged PM Deuba to provide supplementary budget to the families of martyrs of Maoist conflict, people’s movement, Madhes movement, Janajati movement and other movements.
