Jeep-hit kills woman



KATHMANDU: A woman has died after being hit by a jeep at Godaita municipality-10 in Sarhali district.

The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Ranjita Devi Mandal who had been staying at her father’s house at Godaita in Sarlahi.

Critically injured, Ranjita breathed her last while being rushed to hospital.

Police have arrested the jeep involved in the accident and its driver for investigation, said Police Post Godaita.
