Nepal sees 476 new coronavirus cases, three deaths in past 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 126 new cases



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 476 new cases of coronavirus and three deaths in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday. Nepal recorded 388 new coronavirus cases and four deaths on Monday.

Of the confirmed cases today, 299 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 177 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 101 cases in Kathmandu, 15 in Bhaktapur and 10 cases in Lalitpur, taking the Valley’s total to 126 cases.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, three coronavirus-related deaths have been added to the COVID-19 death tally in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll in the country is 11,928 to date.

Currently, there are 10,747 active cases in the country as 831 infected patients recovered.
