KATHMANDU: Pondering, where did you see Survina Karki? Stop ransacking your brainbox! She is the model in the popular song “K Maya Laagchha Ra”?
That’s not all. She has acted in about half a dozen Nepali movies. But the song that keeps reminding her is “Ke Maya Lagchha Ra?”
A promising actress in Kollywood, Survina, who made her silver screen debut in the film “Jheli”, has since acted in movies like “Naikay”, “Sushree”, “Homework”, and “Lukamari”.
In addition to acting in movies, Survina has acted in numerous music videos and advertisements.
Originally from Sindhuli, she had been a well-established music video model before jumping into acting.
Survina underwent acting training from Anupam Kher Training Institute in Mumbai.
After four-month-long training, she felt herself a “matured actress”.
The Institute is a popular acting school in Mumbai that trains aspiring actors about the skills and technical know-how of the film industry.
