LSP elects Mahantha Thakur as PP leader

KATHMANDU: Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP) has elected its chairman Mahantha Thakur the parliamentary party (PP) leader unopposed.

LSP’s PP meeting held in Kathmandu on Wednesday unanimously elected Thakur as its leader.

Thakur was elected from Mahottari-3.

The LSP has four MPs including Thakur, Sarat Singh Bhandari, Sarvendra Nath Shukla and Ram Prakash Chaudhary.
