NC candidate Updhdhya leading against RPP Nepal Chair Kamal Thapa



HETAUDA: Nepali Congress leader and coalition candidate from Makawanpur-1, Mahalakshmi Deena Upadhyay, has maintained her lead in the general election held, on Sunday, for the member of House of Representative.

NC leader Upadhdhya has received 1,192 votes out of 2,127 votes counted so far. Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal candidate Kamal Thapa contesting from CPN-UML’s election symbol ‘sun’ has got 638 votes.

Upadhdhya has maintained the difference of 554 votes. Similarly, Deepak Bahadur Singh of Rajendra Lingden-led Rastriya Prajatantra party has got 65 votes.
