64 percent votes cast in Morang, vote counting starts today



BIRATNAGAR: About 64 percent votes have been cast for the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections in Morang.

Chief Officer of Province 1 Election Office Leban Kashyap Adhikari said about 64 percent votes were cast in Morang, where there are 7,35,525 voters.

He said full details of the votes cast would be available only today.

Ballot boxes are being collected from polling stations in Morang, which has 6 constituencies. Since it would take time to collect the ballot boxes, the counting of votes will begin only from Monday morning.
