UML Chair Oli engages with general public via phone calls



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has started to engage with the general public via phone calls from Friday.

Oli picked a number from bowls filled with telephone/mobile numbers of people willing to talk to him and had dropped their numbers to the CPN UML.

The interaction session took place at the party office in Lalitpur’s Chyasal.

Oli’s secretariat said those called by the UML chair discussed a host of current issues, including upcoming elections.

Oli’s secretariat claimed that 171,783 people had submitted their names and numbers to talk to Oli.

Oli’s October 21 program to talk to people over the telephone was made public on Tuesday.
