President Bhandari addressing China Forum on Non-Aligned Foreign Policy program today



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari is addressing a Chinese forum about Nepal’s non-aligned foreign policy.

According to the President’s Office, Bhandari is going to give a “pre-recorded” video message at the conference organized by the Chinese People’s Association for Peace and Disarmament.

The Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu sent an invitation to the President through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the conference.

According to the invitation sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the President is giving a video message at the conference.

“There has been no request from the government to the President not to participate in the conference as stated in some media,” a source at the President’s Office said.

It is said that China’s Global Security Initiative will also be discussed at the conference.
