Education Ministry unveils “Education Vision Paper 2079”



KATHMANDU: Minister of Education, Science and Technology Devendra Paudel has unveiled the ‘Education Vision Paper 2079’ today, which includes long-term reforms and goals in the education sector.

The vision paper prepared by the Ministry includes the past, present status and future direction of Nepal’s education system.

Minister Paudel said that investment in education will be increased and reforms will be made in the areas of quality, infrastructure, technology and management, following the Sustainable Development Goals and the constitutional guarantees.

He also expressed the belief that the Ministry of Finance will be ready to allocate 20 percent of the total budget for the purpose.
