Baglung section of Kaligandaki corridor highway obstructed

BAGLUNG: Baglung section of Kaligandaki corridor road, the national pride project, has been obstructed due to landslides.

The Kaligandaki corridor has been blocked for the past three days due to landslides occurred at different places of Jaimini municipality in Baglung district.

Information Officer of the District Police Office, Baglung, Indra Bahadur Rana, said transport service on the Kaligandaki corridor road has been stalled due to landslips taken place at Binamare, Arjewa as well as other places of the municipality.

Vehicular traffic to different wards from Kushmisera has been blocked while passengers heading towards Butwal from Baglung have been facing difficulties due to road disruption.

Locals complained that the Department of Roads has not paid any interest to clear the road and resume the traffic till date. (RSS)
