Engineer Akarshan Pokharel announces candidature in Gagan Thapa’s constituency



KATHMANDU: Engineer Akarshan Pokharel has decided to contest in Kathmandu Constituency No. 4.

Pokharel announced his candidacy for the House of Representatives with the slogan “Change is inevitable, waiting is not an option”.

With the success of independent candidates in the local level elections held on May 13, the number of people, especially youths, declaring independent candidacies is increasing in Kathmandu.

Constituency-4 is the constituency of Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa. In the previous election, he was elected from the same constituency.

Speaking at a program in Kapan, Pokharel said that a manifesto would be made public to change the definition of ten options for the country.

Meanwhile, film artist Aryan Sigdel has also supported his announcement.
