NC stands atop in Dolakha, UML second, Maoist Center third



DOLAKHA: The Nepali Congress (NC) has won in majority of the local levels in Dolakha district in the May 13’s local election.

According to the results of two municipalities, seven rural municipalities and 74 wards in the district, NC stands atop winning three mayor/chairpersons, three deputy mayors post\vice-chairpersons and 25 ward chairpersons.

Similarly, the CPN (UML) has secured second position by winning mayoral posts in two municipalities, five deputy mayoral posts and 23 ward chairpersons.

Likewise, the CPN (Maoist Center) has stood third in the district by winning three mayoral posts, one deputy mayoral post and 21 ward chairperson post.

The CPN (Unified Socialist) won one rural municipality chairperson and two ward chairpersons.

Two independent candidates have registered their victory as chairpersons of two wards.
