One missing, five critically injured in Doti bus accident



DIPAYAL: One child has gone missing and five others have sustained critical injury in a bus mishap in Doti Saturday morning. As many as 12 passengers are injured in the accident.

According to Roop Singh Thapa of Area Police office Dipayal,  the 18-month-old son of Surendra Shahi of Chaurpati rural municipality, Achham has gone missing and five of the passengers are in critical condition.

The accident took place when the bus (Na 5 Kha 9663) heading towards Accham from Kailali fell some 200 meters off the road at Gerupani road section of Sikhar municipality -1.

Preparation is underway to send the critically injured to other health facilitates, outside the district, while the rest of the injured are receiving treated at Shaileshowri Hospital at Pipala, Thapa informed.

Police are investigating for further details.
