Electoral alliance is successful, the coalition will be taken ahead till federal election: Prachanda

KATHMANDU:  CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has termed the five-party electoral alliance a success in the May 13 local election and said that the alliance will be taken ahead till the federal and province-level elections.

Congratulating the winning candidate from the five-party alliance in Madhyapur Thimi Municipality on Saturday morning in Khumaltar, the Maoist Center Chair expressed satisfaction at the alliance’s success in Madhyapur and assured the collaboration will be taken ahead.

“The people have given a green signal to the five-party alliance, the alliance will be taken ahead till the federal election,” Prachanda said, adding, “The winners have the challenge to address the expectation of the public and work accordingly for the restoration of faith in federal republic lies in the successful tenure of the elected representatives.”

He asked the winning candidates to work as per the spirit of the federal republic.
