Unified Socialist wins in Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City



HETAUDA: Meena Lama of the CPN (Unified Socialist) has been elected as the Mayor of Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City.

Lama was elected with 23,075 votes. Her nearest rival Ananta Poudel of UML got 20,908 votes.

According to the Election Office, Hetauda, Deepak Bahadur Singh of RPP received 20,531 votes.

Likewise, Rajesh Baniya of the Nepali Congress has won the post of deputy mayor with 32,593 votes. His nearest rival Sumitra Kafle of UML got 23,909 votes. RPP’s Indira Neupane has polled 5,486 votes.
