Nepal sees 15 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 15 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Thursday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 12 were detected through the RT-PCR method and three through the Antigen method.

A total of 3,547 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 2,083 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,464 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no one died due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,951 to date.

Currently, there are 298 active cases in the country as 32 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
